They are a crispier and soft version of falafel. This popular Egyptian snack are made with fava bean, herbs giving its green colour. often served with “Baladi” ; a traditional ‘pita style’ bread, salad with a little drizzle of tahini. works just as nice with our toumaya. In Arabic word taameya translates to “tasty little bits” hence why, we call them our tasty green little bits of goodness.
